...well, 2 months and a day
If you’re gonna target millennials then you’ve gotta make it a meme bro...

You can still blaze it. ..In a dumpster fire.

So they tried to make it look like a Camaro outside and inside... yet it’s a FWD crossover that will have anemic engines?
God. dammit.

Standard Operating Procedure when it comes to the crossover market.

So stupid. That SUV needs an LS, an LSD and rwd at least.

“ Anemic engines”
the 3.6 makes 300hp...

I literally considered titling my post about it, “Chevrolet blazes it with the new Blazer.”

Are you going to complain about this everywhere .
![]() 06/21/2018 at 19:36 |

That’d be okay... if it didn’t weigh close to two metric tons.

Yes, it’s Blazer theme
day!

It’s a CUV, that’ll be plenty quick and more than enough power to mall crawl.
![]() 06/21/2018 at 19:42 |

Exactly my point; GM already makes four CUVs on the C1XX platform, they already have more than enough shit to sell for the mall crawlers.
They could’ve used the Blazer as a competitor for more iconic SUVs like the Wrangler, or the Bronco. Yes... they would’ve used more RnD money (or not, just make a Colorado with a cab) but it would’ve made a more interesting product out of the Blazer, and not a waste of space.

I mean, they could literally just import the foreign market TrailBlazer which already exists. But I understand their logic, I just fear an upcoming over saturation of the CUV market, and a collapse.

Meh, you guys tend to lust over Latin American Domestic Market cars, but they tend to be POS... that trailblazer is probably considerably worse than the blazer itself.

It’s literally a Colorado SUV like you asked for above...

I think the design is a bit outdated (aesthetically) though I do concede I thought it was based on an older chasis and not a modern “
sold in the US
”
chasis
.
The old Blazer was made until 2012 in Brazil!

I mean it's not like the old one didn't. And it only had what, 200hp?
![]() 06/21/2018 at 21:25 |

well, the z28 went from 320hp to 505 in around ten years.

All I’m saying is the old s10 blazer was pudgy and slow, so there’s no reason for the new one not to be that way. In comparison to my ‘01 Jimmy , my ‘93 Grand Cherokee feels light and nimble. And there was a noticeable difference between the two on the trailer behind a UHaul truck.
