OK so let me get this straight…and perhaps indulge myself by participating in some (reverse?) whataboutism –
Barack Obama wears a tan suit, or Michelle wears a
sleeveless dress and Fox News (+ collective MAGAverse)
goes nuts.
Melanie* Trump while travelling to witness the conditions of
a highly politically charged
situation
where children are being held captive by the
government wears a jacket that says “I DON’T REALLY CARE. DO U?” in huge
letters. An event where video footage shows her seemingly very interested and impressed by the treatment of the children - aww
look at how much she cares, you guys!
When asked what the deal with the jacket was, h
er spokesperson releases a statement saying the jacket was
not trying to send a hidden message and that the media should just let it go
(certainly not hidden, you’re right,
lady!).
However, shortly thereafter her ever loving husband tweets
saying
“I REALLY DON’T CARE, DO U?”
written on the back of Melania’s jacket,
refers to the Fake News Media. Melania
has learned how dishonest they are, and she truly no longer cares!”
Come on guys, if you learnt any lesson this week it should at least have been to GET YOUR STORY STRAIGHT (at least, if not DON’T SNATCH BABIES ).

My stance has always been that Melania is mad about the whole Trump P residency. She didn’t sign up for that shit, she just wanted to be a trophy wife for a few years and get millions in a divorce. I don’t think she meant anything by the coat, but it was a poor time to wear it.

Hot take: she knew exactly what she was doing and is just as disgusting a person as Trump, she’s just smart enough to hide it most of the time (dunno how you’d be able to stay married to anyone for 10+ years if you didn’t share at least some of their views). Melania pushed the Obama birtherism shit a few years ago, plaigarized her RNC speech from Michelle Obama,
and has picked cyber-bullying of all things as her First Lady cause to troll people, I don’t doubt this is the same kind of deal. Either that or she’s the most tone-deaf and oblivious idiot in the Administration which would be saying something.

There are stupid jackets everywhere, that’s not uncommon. Prominent political figures wearing them with bad timing, and mixing their excuses about it is less common.
Agreed, the less we see of her the better. Same could be said for her husband too. Golf as much as you wish, by all means!

Yeah, I don’t think she’s as innocent as she plays – at least the more we see of her the less I believe it. And it would make sense, one would have to be pretty twisted to put up with her husband’s antics.
Pretty ironic that she of all people would peddle the birther shit when there are so many unknowns floating around her immigration process and that of her parents.

Looking at all this from a glass 1/100th full perspective at least I’m glad the word “feckless” is making a come back. Also that more people seem to be politically active or at least somewhat aware than I’ve ever seen before . Let’s just hope our democracy manages to make it out mostly in tact on the other side.
