I’m not saying the new 6+2 Series looks like a Mustang, that’s what this picture is for and you can draw your own conclusions.

But that’s totally what I’m saying.

Here’s my take: the two look nothing alike. One looks sleek and high end (bmw) , the other looks crude and commonplace (Mustang).

Im excites for the release of the new 8. I don’t understand all of the hate.

In truth, I thought the “New Edge” (aka the early-2000s Mustang that updated the curves of the SN-95 Mustangs) cars’ front-clip resembled BMWs of the same time period. But only from the side.

I came to the same conclusion and made this picture last night!

The roof line and trunk lid look so similar, to me at least,  it’s ridiculous. I didn’t realize even the front bumpers had similar air intake shapes like they do in your picture. Amazing.

That’s only comparing the front of the 840xi to the 2018 Musta ng. The M850i has a more distinctive front bumper, but is uglier than the 840's because it’s trying too hard to be agg ressive AF with giant plastic intakes.
