Mahindra recently took steps to import it’s street-legal across the pond Thar to the states as the ORV only ROXOR. Would it be possible for Suzuki to do the same with the new Jimny?
Small, capable, fuel efficient. Seems like a great little ranch-hand or easy to build off-roader. With UK pricing estimated to be about Ł12,000 it should cost about the same as or less than the ROXOR and in the same ballpark as the RZR.
Am I completely mad, or could you this actually work?

Mahindra has used Suzuki designs for a while now... So not impossible.

Suzuki did this in New Zealand for a couple of years with the “Farmworker.” It is a possibility. I am guessing it matters how well the Roxor does and what Suzuki NA wants.

I don’t see why you couldn’t do that now yourself.

Yes. But no.
Like the rest of the world, Suzuki is probably not interested in America anymore.

Do these have any kind of stability control? I’d be most concerned with this, especially in such a litigious place:
This might make federalization tough. On the other hand, I bet a 25 year old private import is cheap.
Does the ORV have bullet holes the size of matzah balls?

Along the same line, I hope there will be kits to make the ROXOR street legal.
That would make it seriously cool in my book. Trailing a stock looking “Jeep” doesn’t make much sense to me.

One problem might be weight. I know each state has its own regulations, but in Wisconsin UTVs are limited to 2,000 lbs. The Roxor is 50% higher and the last gen Jimny is 2,400 minimum.
