You should really do some research on domestic abuse and abusive relationships. It’s more complex than just calling it Stockholm Syndrome, but at least you’ve probably at least heard of that. Seriously, I don’t want to personally attack you, but this is a serious societal problem which we have up until recently turned a blind eye on. I’m only 24 and have already known too many female friends who have suffered for years before bravely getting themselves (and their kid) out of abusive relationships despite continuing violence, death threats, and intimidation. Seriously, do some research, you’re on the wrong side of history here.

These are not people who deserve to be looked up to or remembered fondly.
