New legislation just passed a vote in committee. The 2 most controversial points of it are the introducton of a so called link tax and mandatory content ID systems on websites.

Read up on this now. So the right for people to make money is more important for the EU than the right of free speech? I’m not against copyright in itself, but it is too often used as an excuse for being lazy and not adapting to the new technology.
