Definitely would rather have an STI at that point. It’s got more features that I’d need to justify the price on a car like this.

That’s absurdly high priced. Big CP in my opinion. Brand, new WRX STi is basically the same price and has a warranty, and is (just a guess) a fair bit faster.

I picked up a CPO 2017 STI with 12,604 miles for <$32k 3 weeks ago now, that actually has a dealer that will warranty those ringlands for 7yrs/100k

TIL Evos were sold with autos. Also crack pipe because auto, ok price if it was a manual.

While I agree it makes more sense to get an STi, everyone has one. Thats partly why EVO prices stay so high. That and it has an aura about it like a GT-R or Supra. Maybe not as high but higher than an STi
