Bike is a 2008 Buell 1125R. 95% stock, minus the mirrors, Sprint filter and Jardine exhaust. If you look closely, the exhaust is wrapped. Mainly to stop my right leg from feeling like a thanksgiving turkey at every stop light.
Just a side note, that first pic REALLY makes my bike look like it’s paint is a mile deep when it’s paint needs some attention. I did spend a good 6 hours washing, claying, waxing and sealing it’s paint friday.
I know it’s not car related but I’m sure no one wants to look at pictures of a Ram pick up truck that looks the same as it did on the showroom floor.

After blindly reaching for the Vulcan’s key in the ignition this weekend and accidentally punching my hot header tube, I can agree with your decision to wrap your exhaust.

It still hot and have still burned myself post wrap but the heat radiation(like opening a hot oven feeling) is 80% gone. Which was my cause for the wrap. Even in jeans I could feel the heat on my leg. Now it’s mostly gone.
I’m on the fence with my wrap job. I’m good with it being my first attempt on one hand and on the other, I want to redo a couple things on it to make it more aesthetically pleasing to me.

I’m glad Buell didn’t make that many bikes (seems their thing was different variations of the same ones), this will make collecting them easier! Muahahaha! I love it!
