A black toilet is a bold move for a apartment building where studios go for $2,000 a month.

The pictures in the ad were strange all around though.

Nope, its a high rise in Chicago.

But its in Gold Coast, a lot more older people with “outdated” tastes in style live in that area.

It also looks like a building where units are being transitioned from condos back to apartments, which would make sense for how strange some of the apartments looked.

Looks mid- to late-70s to me.

Although for the time-travel illusion to be complete just about everything (tiles on the walls, on the floor, etc.) would have to be black. And then you’d feel as if you were inside an old Playboy pictorial.

Gold Coast.

Looking to move to a high rise sometime soon, but definitely not a Gold Coast one. Especially if this is normal haha.

I’m not going to lie, I feel like I know exactly which building it might possibly be. But realistically, it could be any number of them.

We lived in Gold Coast for a while. I wasn’t a fan of it. All the tourists, semi-locals, and traffic (both foot and vehicular) were too much for me. Though the location was super convenient.
