There used to be this older man in a vintage Mercedes SL who would merge onto SB 101 as I was driving home. Always with the top-down and a lit cigar(ette? memory’s funky on this) in his mouth.

Smoking isn’t “cool” per se, but that guy sure was! He helped sway me towards buying a Miata that’s for sure.

Reminds me, my dad has recently taken up the practice of wearing flat caps, and smoking a pipe. That combined with his mustache and wearing his green coveralls makes him look rather like what I imagine an English country gentlemen might when touring the grounds or working on a Land Rover. For reference we live in southern Ohio on the edge of Appalachia
