200+mph for a couple hundred grand?
Value proposition checks out.

Cirrus SR20:
Cost: $390,000. Power: 200 hp. Weight: 3,050 lb.
Nissan Silvia (S15):
Cost: ~$18,000. Power: 250 hp. Weight: 2,645 lb.
Clearly, the Nissan is far superior in every conceivable way.

The Cirrus weights 2,150 lb or so without fuel, btw. 3,050 is max gross including fuel, people, baggage etc.
Besides being faster, it’ll definitely pull more G’s in a curve. :)

The Nissan is obviously faster*, because JDM yo!
*pushed off a cliff, anyway.

To be fair, I was only committed enough to the joke to do the most cursory of Alta Vista searches.

LOL I just love airplanes, and the SR20 (and SR22) is a pretty cool one, at that!

Me too, and I agree about the SR-series aircraft. Well-built machines, that’s for sure.
I work in aviation, so I have to enjoy it to some degree. :)

Way too many people don’t enjoy what they do, so you’re ahead of the curve there!
