On that 2018 Grand Design Imagine 2250RK. We then high-tailed it home, packed it up and left immediately for a 5-day in Estes
Definitely worth the hassle, in the end

Gravity chairs are the best chairs.
Unless you have to carry them.

That is awesome congrats! I can’t drive a golf cart with a trailer on the back, I can’t imagine my anxiety with one of those!

part-longboi!
I showed this trailer to my wife and I think we agree it will be a purchase once money is had. It’s the perfect combo of size and layout.

Love Rocky Mountain NP. The Trail Ridge road is very very nice.

It’s actually not bad at all. Easy to maneuver, not so long you can’t judge your corners, and was rather stable on both mountain roads and freeways.

Yup, Greyhound/Australian Cattledog.
It is very nice. It was our maiden voyage with it, and our friends’ maiden voyage with their Denali (the camper, not the GMC). Ours was trouble free. Theirs lost trim bits, one of the slide-outs caved a bit, the TV didn’t function right, etc...
Kinda really feeling that Grand Design right now :)

I see on their website it’s 5500lbs empty. I assume your Hemi didn’t mind it much. Weight-distributing hitch, or straight on the ball?
Also, it’s my understanding that all RVs are built like hot garbage. Does this one seem to be particularly more- or less-so?

I was thinking more along the lines of backing it up. I know it’s just opposite, but my brain does not work like that.

It takes some getting used to. For me, I don’t think of it as reverse. I put my hand on the bottom of the wheel and, whatever direction I want the trailer to go, I move in that direction.

Reminds me of the Beartooth Highway where my dad is from.
