I really want this, but I’m curious if you guys think it’s too far gone. Nearly everything is destroyed, and we’ve had lots of rain lately, so the interior is probably moldy.

On the other hand, I do need a new Gambler/Rallycross beater. If it’s still for sale after I sell the Escort, I’ll probably buy it.

easy to dry all that crap out. depends if any important electronics got wet.. but still. you can dry it all out fairly easy

Has potential but the price is a huge red flag. A running car of that vintage should be at least $1000. So, either the repairs to fix far exceed the value or there’s more wrong. A ppi may be a fairly large percentage of the asking price but likely worth it if it turns out to be a nightmare or uninsurable. I’m guessing it was totaled but they carried liability insurance only. I don’t remember the laws in Georgia regarding getting a totaled vehicle re titled.

Also, Florida tag on an Atlanta post. Not super suspicious because it’s Atlanta but it did catch my eye.

Even with the damage that price seems pretty low for mileage. It may be worth checking out though.

And if I were you, I’d make it into a ute type car like someone here did with a Prelude.
