I hate to be That Guy, but for demo purposes a helmet would probably prevent some backlash from viewers.
And wrap the kid in bubble wrap, for crying out loud!
I suddenly feel the urge to do this with my old leaf blower motor, but I don’t think I could find a good stretch of unbroken pedestrian tarmac anywhere.

Those Taz printers are so slow. We had one at my last employer and used it for silly purposes (and some prototypes). It wasn’t precise enough (though it was pretty good) for most purposes, so we still sent most stuff out to fabricators...
The parts he printed would have been easier to just make with a drill press...
I hate the offset thrust, though. I would have built it so it was centered in the rear...
I also would have put some finger protection over the blower, because that’s dangerous to little fingers.
But let’s also be honest: This is stupid. You should just send power straight to the rear wheel, then you could also brake remotely.
