Wow I’ve seen some Transmissions explode but nothing like this. I’m pretty sure he had a scatter Sheild or else he’d be dead. His foot still got messed up though. Action starts at about the minute mark if your impatient.

Transmission oil burns too. Although I’m sure a fuel line or two got cut by shrapnel.

Burns, yes...but that was way beyond a mere burn. Actual transmission fluid was not very likely involved. Safety systems worked real well in that situation.
