The 3rd installment RM Concept was testing on the ‘Ring this month. This car has existed for around 4 years and has been seen driving for over 2 years now. The RM16 premiered the new chassis and it is starting to look as if this project could actually happen in another 4 years (2022).

Still waiting for more info and for Fayez Abdul Rahman to present the next generation of HMG RWD architectures. He is the missing piece I have been waiting for!

Waiting to see this car being driven hard. When mules and prototypes start being thrown around that’s when you know there is more than a handful of them in existence.

I’m not pooh-poohing on the car at all, but I predict a fire in at least one of the prototypes. It’s one of the typical high performance growing pains. I’m interested to see what it can do, though.

If this thing is somehow not expensive, I’ll do what I can to buy the hell out of one

I love the idea but it just can’t see it happening. Who really wants a mid-engined hatch? Especially in this world where everyone is about autonomous this and economy that.

It’s cool. It’s really cool. But they’ll sell like 40 of them. Even as a flagship I can’t see it turning any heads - most people don’t even know why a car would have an engine in the bum. It doesn’t turn heads like the obligatory supercar flagship. If your flagship isn’t turning heads there’s no point. People will just say it’s a worse Veloster.
