Backed in, nearly dead center, no handicapped placard or tag. Bonus points: at a church. And the house in the background is a group home for mentally disabled adults (owned by the church. The house. Not the adults.)
Not a busy afternoon there, but still. Why?

Well, it not being a busy afternoon should be the first indication that it was completely unnecessary.
But that’s kind of the crazy parking situation that leads to a deeper story....

For real though, where’s a predatory towing company when you need them to yank away people who park this terribly

Post the license plate.
Everywhere nearby. Goal would be to shame them into moving away. And changing their shitty selfish behavior.

The only thing that could make this worse is if they had backed over one of the mentally disabled adults and their feet were sticking out from under the car.

group home for mentally disabled adults
At least we know he belongs. At least, I assume that’s why he has a fusion

Actually those parking spots are probably not ADA compliant.
The 60" access aisle is not present and even if it was incorporated into the parking spot to the left, the Ford Fusion is 72" wide so there’s clearly not enough space... which begs the question... are those even regulation compliant?
Given that the parking lot is empty, one must wonder
why
this person parked that way, it might not be completely nefarious. reserve your anger for the stupid BMW X6 in the other post.

If they’re that retarded, how does anyone expect them to start the application process for a handiplate? /s

Actually, those spots were probably compliant at the time the site was developed and may still be. Clearly they could have taken up one spot (left or right) and had plenty of room to maneuver. Also, it’s a sedan, not a minivan or SUV with a lift/wheelchair ramp. Nope, pretty much no discernable excuse other than the desire to take up two spots.
On the other hand, empty parking lot probably equals no harm, no foul.

I know in a lot of places the lack of a sign means it’s not actually a handicap spot. In Washington at least it has to be placed by the municipality or county to be enforceable. Two wheelchair vans definitely couldn’t do their thing in there either.
It’s really a nice suggestion of two handicap spots and some rude parking.

I’ve started calling the non emergency police on people who do this. It’s just pointlessly dickish to park like that.
If anyone should be paying traffic fines, it’s definitely these people.

No front plate... maybe disabled tags? My mam has those in AZ and gets tons of dirty looks because there’s no placard or front plate
edit: which I would then extrapolate to maybe wheelchair passenger, not driver? but that’s reaching, the parking job is still shitty but they might at least have deniability on the disabled part

I actually checked the tag AND the dashboard before jumping to conclusions. The weird part is there were 5-6 better handicap spots available. Really no harm, no foul on a quiet day, but still looks bad.

True. Also, I apologise, I didn’t really realise my comment would basically read as me defensively accusing you of jumping to conclusions. I was more asking like a defense lawyer who hasn’t really read the case details because the big empty gap up front was the first thing I noticed.
Second thing was, it looks like it has fake NASCAR headlights. It wasnt till now that I saw when you posted this
