Making our way south we find a   in Dillon Montana. Earlier in the day involved meat  snacks in Lincoln Montana, home to the unibomber.

It’s on interstate 15, it could be much worse. There is a two screen movie theater here and a small branch of the university of Montana otherwise it’s pretty quite. I think you need a site visit to verify the tacos.

I’ve been through Dillon before. It’s somewhere compared to everything around it.

So, are there decent tacos at any exit to Yellowstone? Particularly interested in ones in West Yellowstone.

I love Montana, every time we drove to the midwest from Tacoma we always stayed in Missoula to get Cracker Barrel for dinner and breakfast.

We are turning west tomorrow and headed for hotsprings and ghost towns. I hate Idaho falls too abandoned a car there back in my youth.

I was assigned to the INEL working massive hours and there was no place in that town to blow off steam. When going to Pocatello is considered a wild time you know your town is a snooze.

Do you remember a really good Chinese restaurant right off the freeway in down town? My dad ate there in the 70’s and then we came through about 5 years ago and it is still there. You can’t hate in that part of Idaho too much we call it northern Utah for a reason.

It was too long ago and I was working so many hours that if it wasn’t a bar I probably didn’t go there. We did rotating shifts on a seven day rotation with every weekday a 12 hour shift. Add that to the bus ride from town to the site and it was all a blur.
