Gotta love when a transport company with a $100,000 insurance limit wants to transport a $200,000 car.

In other news, I bought a bunch of cars today, at least in theory. I hate waiting for paperwork...

I decided to stop with my random trying to run 5k every few days and hiked 9.1 miles from one side of St. Petersburg, FL to the other on Sunday. I have a nice blister on my heel and a fantastic sunburn (I can get a sunburn on a cloudy night).

Along the way I met a girl walking barefoot to Yoga class, a guy who was convinced I had a lighter, and an Uber driver who thought I lost a bet because I walked that in the heat. I drank 5 glasses of lemonade when I got to the beach and took a selfie with a Pirate statue (I was in Treasure Island).

My friend who runs a fitness blog declared me slightly insane, but dedicated.

I also still have this damn BMW X1 as a loaner as my M3 should be ready today.

Why should the premium matter? Do you mean limit or deductible?

Cool, whad you buy anything cool? My day is great. I wasn’t feeling so hot this morning (day two hang over from my best friends wedding). I just had a salad from sweetgreen and now I feel better.

I have this crazy stupid thing where I want a truck/SUV. Specifically a Montero. I don’t need this. For no reason do I have a need to own something like this. I still want it. What is wrong with me pls?

Took about 2 1/2 hours. I stopped once to retape my ankle, pee behind an abandoned building (there were no gas stations) and when the drawbridge went up. I was stuck watching a just tall enough sail boat go through.

I enjoyed it...cept for the blister part.

Ran a track day this past weekend so I can run on that high for the rest of the week. Hoping to do a nice 3 day weekend of hiking and driving on the PCH next weekend. And then keep riding that “weekend warrior” excitement through a couple of long vacations coming up.

Sounds like a (mostly) great day.

You might need better walking shoes, though. Doing that once a week is going to do your health plenty of good. Maybe stop into the yoga studio on the way, too!

Yes, I agree on the shoes. I usually wear minimalist shoes...I admired the barefooted yoga girl’s dedication...so I got a 2nd pair as my current pair is falling apart (but super comfortable).

I wore a pair of running shoes with more sole than I am used too and I think my gait was causing the shoe to rub. So this fantastic blister appeared.

My fitness blog friend may join me Saturday which means some of the pain will be on video...especially if he tries to throw me off the drawbridge.
