I feel like this would be a funny Youtube series, if someone buys this CL (Hoovies Garage anyone?), and tries to make it look OEM again.

I actually thought about a retirement hobby business doing exactly that: buying sought after but riced up examples (e.g. Supras, Integra R) and completely restoring them to factory spec. And maybe other restomod of childhood dream cars. Kinda like Singer but for cars I always wanted to drive.

The world would be a better place with a business that de-riced cars, haha.

I would watch that if it was a show.

The winter tires are worth more than this car!

Ouch. This reminds me of the time I saw an Olds Achieva with a Type-R badge on the trunk.

That sounds like an amazing business idea. Hell, you wouldn’t have to go full OEM, you could just give the cars a more tasteful series of modifications.
Sometimes I feel like NOPI and Fast & Furious were the worst things to happen to cars.

But I can guarantee you, a business like that won’t really be a business to make money, unless you’re really specialized like Singer... hence why I was more referring to it as a retirement hobby.
