So I have this game I like to play that involves photography with improvised camera stabilizers (basically using whatever we can find as a sort-of improvised tripod). At the crack of midnight on May 28 and armed with two entry-level Canon DSLRs, a friend and I took his Miata into Toronto for a round of Game Of Tripods. Here’s what I ended up with.

After checking out downtown, we headed to the Scarborough Bluffs to try and catch the sunrise.

Some of them turned out kinda meh, but some of them turned out pretty great. What do you guys think?

Those are some awesome pictures. I was going to say something about what Canadians do for fun but the results are impressive so I’ll keep my mouth shut.

Nice work. I love big cities before sunrise.

Awesome shots! Sounds like a fun game to play

I tried to guess where you took the pictures, buy only figured out a few... (well for a few I have a hunch in which part of the city they are taken, but not precisely)

Thanks! This time around we used everything from wheelie bins to bridges as improvised stabilizers.

Everything but the last two photos was shot along King Street west of the CN Tower and the last two photos were shot at the Scarborough Bluffs.

Nice work! I have a thing for dimly lit walkways/parking garages and waterfronts. Since you’re down by the harbourfront anyways, you can get views like this just a tad west of the Bluffs.
