First off: (the northern part of) your state is flat as hell.
Second: the 70mph speed limit coupled with the least aerodynamic trailer ever is absolutely killing our fuel economy. Down to 12.5 Mpg :p
Third: anyone have restaurant suggestions near Marysville?

Florida and Louisiana are the flattest, but at least the water breaks up the monotony.

Pfft 70 and flat is probably the best road in Ohio!
If you end up on Highway 24, keep an eye out for the state troopers just looking for out of state cars to ticket. Driving back the Monday after Memorial Day I passed 7 in the first 24 miles, 3 of which had MI drivers pulled over.

You must be in the northern half then. Once you’re south of Columbus, it ain’t so flat - some pretty damn good driving roads in southern Ohio, actually.
But the cops in Ohio are dicks so be careful.

I have not driven across either but I assume the random gators crossing the road should keep your senses on high alert.

1st It gets hillier as you go south but yes the northern part is flat.
2nd: sorry I’m from southern Ohio so no suggestions on eateries there.
3rd: don’t you dare complain about our 70mph interstates we had to fight long enough to get them

The Turnpike and 75 north of Dayton are boring AF.
Been forever since I’ve been in the Dayton/Columbus area though, so no restaurant recommendations- good luck.

Looks hillier than North Dakota (which isn’t even that flat, with gentle undulation all the way across).

I haven’t been myself, but my sister in law often talks about a place called The Ville Grill. It’s marketed as a Greek bar and grill.

I grew up in FL and only saw a gator on the road once. And it was high alert.
Mostly it’s just the most endless pine trees and chasing the horizon, complete with mirages. Every 5-6 miles by law, the interstate makes a slight turn.
I could never live somewhere without topography again. It’s just too nice.

Looks like 75 North? If it is, I made the drive from bowling green to Cincinnati probably 100+ times. Bowling green is center of Ohio flatness, you are not wrong.
If it’s 71, it is also a pretty shit drive but I have not made it as many times

Also northern Kentucky. There are some awesome never ending roads out there. I’ve taken both my bike and ST out for multiple hour jaunts.

I lived for a bit outside of Dayton - long time ago, but had a lot of fun driving on some of those country roads, though I was in Ohio a lot more than Kentucky.
Being around Chicago now, I’m a bit jealous of anyone who has good roads nearby - it’s too flat around here.

The western part is flat, the eastern part is the Appalachias lol. Make a stop at Grandpa’s Cheesebarn if you can!

The hilly parts of southern Ohio/Kentucky are pretty nice — the northern half just seemed flat and crowded to me. The only part of FL that’s semi-interesting is between Orlando and Gainesville on I-75 where it’s just a little hilly. Also around Lakeland/Winter Haven for the same reason.

I10 between Pensacola and Tallahassee aren’t the worst flatness offenders, plus it goes over water.

And almost no cops, so cruise control at 90 is very reasonable!
