How are y’all doing this Friday? I’m getting my MR2 ready for tomorrow’s autocross once the Benz’s airbag is done.

Waiting for a wheel bearing to come in for the Volvo, I had to get new shock mounts also, because I couldn’t loosen the nut that holds the mount to the shock (it uses some weird shock mount design that’s super necessary and afaik the only “benefit” from it is you don’t have to open the trunk to change the rear shocks). So I haven’t changed the shocks yet. They were also so busted I didn’t even bother putting it back on, and I haven’t noticed a difference driving it. But tomorrow I’m gonna replace the wheel bearing and the rear shocks for good.

Good news I got today was: underwriting is complete and it’s smooth sailing to close on both my houses
Bad news I got today: the two guys I trained to take my last job were inexplicably approved for overlapping vacations, so I will be doing my job plus my old job. So that’s gonna suck.
