This makes me want to watch it more. Other people saying a movie sucks means that I might like it! And I mean its on Netflix so the only cost is my time. So my standards will be WAYY lower and my expectations are that it sucks.

Yeah, I was super disappointed. Some good ideas, but terrible execution with wicked plot holes. Ireally wish it was more tied to the last 20 minutes of Cloverfield Lane

If poor character development, unexplained plot devices that serve no purpose, non-sequiters, and blatant scientific implausibilities (in a science-themed movie) are your thing, then you’ll have a real hard on for this one. I ended up using the scan feature on my remote to watch the last third.

It’s worth a watch...solid, suspensful, creepy movie. The aliens are just a backdrop to the real story.

I watched it on a flight, because before the flight I was quickly looking for things to download through Netflix in a pinch rather than scout for torrents of better movies. It was an acceptable diversion from paying more attention to the flight.

Netflix used to have ratings and you could sort by “lowest”. That’s how I found it originally. I’m sad they no longer have that “feature”
