That IS pretty. I plowed driveways in high school with an ‘85. We still had it in 2005, and I literally broke the frame in half hitting a snowbank. I bolted it together with some scrap metal and kept using it.

I like the exterior looks of these better than the later ones, but I hate the dashboard design on them.

Meh. These are cool to park and look at if they’re nice. Or take out into the woods and drive irresponsibly if they’re cheap and already in crappy condition.
Nice old ones still have a 30 yr old interior and drive like crap for what they cost. You’re better off doing a 96 month loan on a new one. Much better at pretty much everything.

That would be my dream truck right there, down to the color. I’d make a homemade wood gun rack for the rear window too. Probably wouldn’t use it, but hey.
