One of my neighbors has one of the LWB TJs. I told her that she’s gotta call me before she ever tries to sell it.

That’s what my neighbor has, manual Silver Rubicon LJ. I’m like third in line for it. His has 53k on it and I know what he paid for it. If he ever does decided to sell it, he’ll make a pretty penny.

I nearly traded in my Taco on one, in my preferred color combo, too, yellow. It sold before I could get to it.

Rubicon LJ. I strongly dislike the JK and JL. I like the TJ but it is really limited on space. The LJ filled that gap without being gigantic or a 4 door.

I have no idea if this one was a manual but I imagine all the Rubicon LJs will hold their value extremely well.

The proportions are perfect on the Rubicon versions. The LJ looks kinda weird on stock tires in the lower trim. They just need the 31’s.

These are going to command dumber-than-dumb prices over the next few years. Especially rust free & un-modified.

Definitely. Jeep prices are bad enough for models that number in the tens of thousands.

My buddy is selling his:

Lots of work done, but runs and drives mint. Manual, 68k.

Dealer wanted $16k for the one I was going to go grab. That was a great price, if it was as nice in person as pictures.

For your buddy’s ride, this price is definitely in line with the market for low mileage Rubicons.

That’s all it is really. The Jeep LJ Rubicon is just exceptionally rare by typical Jeep production numbers.

Strange. Why stretch it? No back seats?

Both versions have back seats. I dunno why they did it. Maybe to gauge how the public would take to a bigger or four door Jeep?
