So, I traveled about 1100 miles, went through the Tail of the Dragon on the way out, got stopped in traffic on the interstate highway on the way back, saw some good long-time friends before I left town and before that met some great internet strangers and geeked out about cars with them.

That is what I call a good weekend.

I also apparently took about 150 photos, and I was being restrained. I will provide you with a small selection that I particularly enjoyed. We start with Cars and Coffee at Cool Springs, and quickly move on to the Lane Motor Museum. Other photos have been included in other posts, such as !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and in comments on other people’s posts.

Then there was the line up of truly cared-for vehicles:

No, not the Viper ACR - the Galaxie!

And, as seen on a Pontiac G8, what so many people should have as a license plate frame:

On to the Lane!

So, Nissan race cars and classic cars, and . . . concept cars, too?

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

So, that was some of the Nissan collection. The Lane had many other strange and wondrous vehicles . . . So many I couldn’t take a photo of every one that deserved it, and I will try to only show you some of the best of those that I did take, but it is extremely subjective. Starting with ones in the basement:

The first production car with a Wankel rotary engine

And finally to the main floor of the Lane.

So, we had a great lunch organized by OpposResidentLexusGuy and his family, had a road rally to a distillery, then began to go our separate ways. Au revoir until next time!

The Studebaker trucks were a nice surprise. I really wasn’t expecting to see one of those, much less two, at a C & C.

It definitely needs to be restored and put on the main floor. But it was only one example of similarly weird cars that they have.

Great shots of the ‘60 Starliner and the LARC.

Last time I was at Nashville C&C, there were two REPU’s.

At first I was thinking it was a Dymaxion Dynacar, but it’s too short looking.
