Reddit’s !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is a veritable cornucopia of the many !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! of shop lyfe. You never know what’s gonna roll in. Here’s what caught my eye this week.

Customer initially reported a whine from the box, but the proceeded to drive until it wouldn’t select half of them...

I hope there was a note left behind so that nobody tried to start the engine with this pedal floored...

And it’s a V6. Because of course it is.

There was about 1qt of oil in the engine. Maybe 2 if you count the oil in the filter. She had an “oil change” about 1000 miles ago so there was no way she leaked that much in that amount of time without visible signs, that’s when we went to the tranny. And we discovered that there was a lot of oil in the trans. We assume whoever was doing oil changes mistook the trans slot for the oil slot and just kept filling it up every 5,000 miles.
