I did have to stay slow to keep temps down on the way back. In middle Tennessee. In the summer. With no air conditioning.

I injured my left foot recently and as my 1985 Jaguar was the only automatic car I owned It got to be my daily for a month. And I drive a good bit for work. Only breakdowns were because of blown heater hoses I fixed myself (one in the parking lot of Firestone after they said they couldn’t get a hose until tomorrow). Not too bad for a janky neglected 30 year old supposedly unreliable car.
