Selectric III. Accept no substitutes for the original mechanical clicky keyboard.
Still purrs like a kitten.
Fun fact, while these normally operate on electricity, you can in fact run it off a driveshaft powered by anything you want, including a hand crank or foot pedals. They run completely off mechanical actuation.

Wow, we had one at my job that I left in 2013, only one of the secretaries was really comfortable/proficient with it. Really useful for preprinted forms and certificates though, given how shifty the copier was.

I love selectrics. Watching that golf ball flying around while trying to out-type it (which you really can’t) cracks me up. It’s a damn shame there’s really no reason to have those around anymore.

Public notaries here in Pennsylvania still use them to type directly onto vehicle titles (intra-state title transfers must be notarized with both buyer/seller present) before being mailed off to Harrisburg for PennDOT officiation.
