Rare BMW edition. This has been on the side of the road near me for a couple months now. What do you think?
The interior is absolutely immaculate. Less wear than I’ve seen on some new cars... Also, the gauges were fantastic. Could not photograph them too well with the glare, unfortunately.
I don’t have the slightest clue what these are worth, but I’m guessing that even with the low(ish) miles, CSL designation and great shape that this is still priced high. Edumacate me!
Bonus round. While working a rare Saturday shift, someone approached me and asked if I wanted to buy his “sportscar”. I said I’m interested, so he brought her out to look over....
Chrysler Crossfire! Immaculate, gorgeous paint. No pictures, but it was black, with meh aftermarket wheels (also black). The price seems absolutely insane, right?

Never seen those wheels before, but I’m a fan. Nice colors inside and out, and the good condition can’t hurt.

Looks like a CSi badge, not CSL. There was at one time an M6 above these, IIRC.

CSi just means “Coupe Sport injection/injected”, the only E24s that weren’t badged CSi were very early carbureted ones, an M6, or an L6. It’s a later one with international bumpers, which are the second most desirable after the earlier euro bumpers, and it’s an auto, which doesn’t help the value. It doesn’t hurt it a ton since it’s mostly a cruiser, but the 5 speeds to generally go for more. I say mild CP for the market, total CP for me personally since I once had a perfectly good 5 speed 633CSi for $1000.

I love E24's, and I want one myself. For $10k you can get a pretty sweet manual one, i’d rather look out for one of those.

Both prices are a bit high but that is about the nicest 635 CSI I’ve seen based on the pics and most crossfire’s have pretty high mileage and a list of issues.
I had a 535i with the same engine as the 635 and it was torquey and reliable but it was hard keeping all the oil inside of it.

That 6 is probably over priced, especially being auto, but the Crossfire is hell’s CP

CP for both the 635 and Crossfire...unless it’s an SRT6.

Crossfire is about 8 grand too expensive.
That 6-series is way overpriced too. Good ones pop up from time to time for 4-6k, but they go fast. That one has been sitting because the price is bad.

The idea of owing one of those vehicles, dispite the price is absolutely horrifying.

That is a very interesting exhaust exit, not center but also not really on the side.
Also: Cp on both accounts

I was halfway joking - this E24 looks quite nice, but the price is too dear (same for the Crossfire). The BMW especially is not a low maintenance vehicle.
When you get a bike, be prepared to have the piss scared out of you now and then by eastside “drivers” - riding around here is less pleasant with each new year. I haven’t had anything for a few years, I get older, I find I don’t have the patience and temper for it around here.
