Still truck shopping but even my phone has other ideas. Have a couple good looking prospects, need to con someone into giving me a ride (lest I buy something and end up with one of me and two vehicles in the same spot).
Current top contender is “call” not text, which is not preferred (I always feel like I’m interrupting something cold-calling people) but it looks pretty good.

I know what you mean but they asked you to call, so it’s their issue.

Probably. At least they have a phone number, ads with e-mail only are such a crapshoot, I’m probably at 25% at best that ever reply back.

I’m not that old, but I usually put “call only” in my craigslist ads and ignore any inquiry that isn’t a phone call. I do it as an exercise in following directions on the idea that an inability to do disqualifies someone from buying something from me. Since I’ve started doing that, it has greatly increased the quality of folks that buy stuff from me. They always seem to ask relevant questions, show up when they’re supposed to and make a reasonable offer with cash in hand.
