Kinda, my wife got a new job so we no longer commute together and I commute early to avoid traffic. This is just an added bonus.

There’s a guy who owns a Lotus Elise and asked if he can park his car all the time and they said yes. I may use that a precedent even though I only have a lowly Fiesta ST.

The Pennsylvania Railroad has a famous and somewhat similar memorial to their workers who died in WWII.

Given that it’s 30 years newer I suppose it could have been inspired by Canada Pacific’s (or perhaps other similar monuments). I believe the distinctive extremely vertical composition of the PRR memorial was novel though.
