Last week I posted about my car needing some work. I took it in last Wednesday for: Inspection, secondary air injector replacement, tire pressure monitor sensor replace, sway bar replace and an issue with my vents/blower where the vent actuators make a clicky sound and the blower motor sounds like it’s under load.
They had the car till friday when they told me to pick it up. The car had not been inspected and the vents had not been worked on. Ugh.. but they were nice about, gave me a temp inspection and told me to bring it back tuesday this week to repair the vents and finish the inspection. they told me they will cover the labor on the repair. So first thing yesterday I dropped the car off, they called and told me it was ready for pick up after work.
So 4:30 comes and I go pick up my car. Well Guess what, they didn’t fix the issue with the vents!!! like WTF? So here we are day 5 they have my car to fix the vents.. Here’s to hoping it gets done! I also requested a free oil change on top of the free labor because this is insane!!!

should have just had them give you a loaner and keep it till all the work is done. They can putz around all they want, but don’t give the loaner back till its all done.

they offered me a cruze.. Fuck that, if they offered me a Impala or atleast a Malibu I would have. but I had shopping to do and shit last night, wasn’t about to deal with a tiny ass car for all that. besides it’s on the way to work and my buddy picked me up there. less of a hassle than it sounds like really.

I would have even taken a spark and made several trips to the store... fuck if I care. Not my car. Not my miles.
They have more of an incentive to fix your car when you have one of theirs.

I dont think it’s that they don’t want to fix my car, the mechanics any ways. the service dude I have been dealing with is one scattered old man. he takes no notes and has the organization skills of a dead dog. He never told the crew to do the repair, it’s all on him! and I had to purchase things that would probably have fit in a spark with the seats down but no way they were going into the cruze.
either way, I’m getting free labor and a free oil change (i hope I told them they need to do that as well for the total in-convince of it all).
