Wow...those 30-degree daily fluctuations — I’m guessing the humidity is low, which takes the edge off a bit.

Birmingham and Atlanta at the moment (it’s not as bad as it looks, just eeerie):

We still fished, swam in the lake, lots of boats out today.

Here’s the same chart with humidity added in green. Mornings are very sticky, and often foggy, but it all dries out by the afternoon.

It’s like that here but also 80% humidity and no AC in the house

i long for the sweet release of death’s cold embrace

Why no AC?

What site is that from? I’ve never seen the fluctuations mapped by hour like that curve.

My house has neither central heat or AC. And I don’t have any sealing panels to put next to the window AC.

That’s rough. I went down south a few weeks ago in to the 90-100 range and I wasn’t ready at all. Luckily I’m safe for a while

I fabricated my own. It might not be pretty but it’s better than roasting alive.

Nom De Plume nailed it. Weather Underground is one of the best sites for weather geeks. You can view that chart either for 10 days or for 24 hours. It’s not as exactly accurate as your local weather report, but it’s close enough. They’ve got tons of data you can crunch.

Oh, man...that’s sort of the worst of both worlds. The Southwestern heat with the Gulf humidity, all in the same day.

Idk how accurate it is, but the thermostat in the Volvo has been recording temps over 100 fairly regularly the past week or two. (San Antonio)
