I’m really pleased with the way the roof turned out. I took the faded roof rack off and repainted it in gloss black (along with the rear hatch spoiler thing and the rear wiper). Then I carefully laid black gloss vinyl on the entirety of the roof. It turned out much better than the hood, I think mainly because I used strips instead of one huge piece. Who’s really going to climb up there and and check for seams anyway?
Still so much to do... Oh well I’ve given myself a year to complete it and I’m making great progress so far.

I should probably do the same to my roof rack. It’s kinda weathered.
