Not my best day. If I’d had one more run maybe I’d have gotten there. Oh well. 3rd in PAX out of 54, 2nd in my very fun class of well matched, good drivers.

You might notice I ran out of gear in that run. I tried using 3rd and, well, that went poorly

I was trying to heel toe down to second and neglected to brake enough or braked too late. Or both? Either way, it was a good run until then. One more and maybe I’d have gotten it. Oh well.

BTW, any opinions on which of these video formats is better?

Also, I have a hell of a time replying with Kinja these days. So sorry if I take a while to get back to you.

Man, it’s a big girl on the autoX. How do you like the steering setup in your car? Seems like you’re giving it a lot of input. Keep in mind that the last Mustang I drove was a V6 rental circa 2013.

I like the steering. A slightly quicker rack would be nice for autox, but at the expense of everything else I think. The combination of rear sway, a staggered setup, and the alignment I have makes turn in reasonably sharp. The car rotates well, today it felt a bit loose in the rear but it was my first day out on a new alignment. The rear swaybar is adjustable, so if I continue to feel like it’s over steering too much I will try to loosen it.

I’m using lightworks, it’s a ‘free’ video editing software. Can only export at 720P with a free license but that’s fine.

I like it because it does video and audio tracks, and shows the audio wave form. So when I’m being smart I clap after both cameras are on to give the audio a spike, and I can sync them with that cue.

Wheels are GT PP 19X9 front 19X9.5 rear with 275/35R19 front and 285/35R19 rear Bridgestone RE-71R
