Kinda feel like if they have the tools to chop out your cat they could chop away this thing pretty easily too.

It’s still common, especially on work trucks or box trucks that have lots of room to work with. Add in being stored overnight on an unsecured lot in an industrial area and you have easy money for thieves and a REALLY expensive fix for the company.

especially cute fluffy friendly ones....

(also i learnt if you have kittens to never give them away for free... as people will feed them to snakes n shit...)

(being that i grew up in farm country.... that shit never occured to me.... everyone had free kittens to give away as mousers)

Someone stole my friend’s cat from his lifted 4runner a few years ago. He replaced it, they returned and stole his entire car. From in front of his house. While he was home. In broad daylight.

And it was actually a pretty nice part of seattle that he lived in at the time.

so im told by the missus when i tried to put up an add giving our kittens away for free near london..

had a proper shitfit at me lol

apparently any small animal thats free gets fed to snakes n birds of prey (wich is not to say everyone picking up a free kitten would.... but the odds go way the hell down when said kitten is more expensive than regular food)

Yeah, the thing about these cages is they don’t have to stop somebody who’s got a sawzall in their hands. All they have to do is be annoying enough to persuade the thief to move on to the next truck.

I wouldnt know. I dont have a vehicle with a cat on it... so they can try and steal them and be dissapointed
