Was behind this car for a bit this morning —but he disappeared VERY quickly after the light change
First LS500 I’ve seen in the wild - I love the front and profile, but not the rear end.
Pretty rare configuration on this F-350
Patina, but this old Volvo looked to be in really good shape.
G63 - I saw a matte silver G63 on the way to work yesterday, plus this one at the car wash. Driver was a Jersey Shore wannabe, but this car had a really nice rumble and lope at idle, which I haven’t noticed on stock AMG 5.5 TTV8's before

Ha, a Jersey Shore wannabe. Of all the types of people I see driving into/out of the MB dealership, and just in general, that is the most apt description of most G Wagen drivers.
Also, where was that Volvo? I swear I’ve seen it before.

I live right near Hinsdale, so G-Wagens are actually a pretty common sight in my area - this one just stuck out a bit because it was bright red, and I ended up pretty close to it. That was at a Norwood Park car wash, though.
The Volvo was in Burr Ridge - right by the Lifetime Fitness/town center mall off of the Stevenson, FWIW. First time I recall seeing that car. Are you around there?

Long shot, but might be the same Volvo. We used to have a couple clients in the Downer’s Grove/Burr Ridge area that I’d visit every so often. We are in Bucktown/Wicker Park, right by MB of Chicago/Fletcher Jones Audi - so I get to see some fun cars coming and going (though not as many now that the new MB/Audi service center has opened on Elston/Division).

Could very well be, then. That’s my old neighborhood - I was a few blocks south at Crystal and Noble - my place backed up to St. Stan’s. Great area, I miss it!

After many years in the Gold Coast then West Loop/Fulton River District, I’m very happy we moved here. Enough away from the action to be quiet, but close enough to go partake if we feel like it. Plus we randomly have a pear tree in the front yard, so there’s that.
