Went for a ride after work. Got to the lock and damn just at sunset. And I get home after 30-40 miles and my side cover is gone.
This is a burgundy replacement, close but not brown.
Shit. But some nice pictures, and a barge was passing through the lock as I left. Neat. Failure at getting a good sunset photo

Shame about the cover, but nice pics nonetheless!
Are the covers NLA / obscenely priced used?

Really too bad they replaced the trusses with beams. The old illustrations with them look so nice. Couterpoint: rust.

NOS on eBay is $100. Thats dumb. I think the other burgundy cover is still good. I got a second set from a guy building a cafe or bobber. It’s just a bit off. But it’ll be close enough for me.
Ill retravel the route tomorrow.

Check and replace the little rubber grommets that hold it in, my dad kept loosing the cover on his CB900 until we finally noticed a dried out and cracked grommet.
