Has a check engine light *Code P0705* for a transmission sensor, haven’t looked into it but doesn’t affect the driveability at all.
So... Unless I am missing something P0705 is a PNDRL error, which shouldn’t be a thing on a manual vehicle?

Ho...shit, that part is rarer than anything else on that Miata if it’s gloss yellow and not a metallic yellow. Only 239 were produced in that color, and this Miata is somehow rocking the hood off of one.

Only the Germans would have precise color patterns for a multi-color car.
It’s funny that the base color is not the most common on these cars, too. Red base is mostly yellow, yellow is mostly red, teal is mostly blue, and blue is mostly teal...
