I’m a young adult but I turn into a 12 year-old who can’t say no to LEGOs when they’re on 20% discount, especially when it’s a cool car! Also, hello future trunk Miata with factory spoiler in the same color as my car, please stop being a pain in the butt with your wiring harness, I wanted to install you since a month ago! The spoiler doesn’t weight that much but apparently it’s enough that if I don’t adjust the torsion springs supporting the trunk, it’ll closer under its own weight!

I still have mine on display.

Some pieces don’t stay on very well, but I won’t spoil it for you and tell you which ones. But then maybe it’s staying true to being a British car, lol.

I might put mine in a case but I want to see if a friend of mine can make vinyl decals to replace the Caterham with Lotus. My SCCA mentor built an original Lotus-7 out of parts in a barn in Germany back in the late 60s while he was in the Air Force before importing it back to the US. He sold it years later but regrets it to small degree, now he’s building a Honda-powered Europa with suspension from a SCCA formula car.

I’ve been trying to figure out if our printer can make vinyl decals to replace the Le Mans car stickers with company-themed livery. I think our CEO would get a kick out of it (also a subtle push to sponsor a Lemons car for our office?)
