Myself am experiencing the Polish pride called Zubr. Tastes alright, but nothing too special, but hey it was cheap!
Progress on the firebird is also moving along nicely with “bondoing” complete and almost all rust is now repaired. Paint is in sights.

Nice! I was in Czech recently and tried all sorts of local beer and a couple of them dark. They really know their stuff over there.

oriental supermarket opened in my town... so i got a case of these (for medicinal pruposes... cough wheeze)

Ahh yes, the nbr 1 beer I had when I was over in Japan last year. The Japanese sure know how to make smooth drinks, especially sake.

always thought sake was crap.... then one day my uncle served nice sake with a meal (warm) and i learnt.... sake is nice.... just the stuff i can get in my supermarket is crap
the real stuff is pretty damn good

Yup, tried something real nice (can’t remember the name) in a fancy restaurant in a town called Imari and I don’t think I’ve ever had something that went down that easy

Unlike many brews the citrus isn’t the initial flavor with malt to close. It’s a balanced mix of both throughout. Great brewery/beer in Vancouver.
