Is that an L? As in “This vehicle is being piloted by someone with their Leaners Permit/Provisional license?”

Does Mrs Prince Harry have her full license? Does a US license meet the requirements to oversee a learner driving in the UK?

Scandal! Impeach!

The DB. Better brand, better color, better fuel, better passenger.

It’s all part of the just married thing of decorating a car like attaching beer cans, balloons or write on the car ‘just married’.

Kinja'd!!!

A lot of learning (being trained) takes place following the wedding ceremony.

Like the old joke of what three things does the bride see as she enters the church?

Aisle, altar, you!

I can’t tell if you’re being serious or having fun with me, but either way, I’m amused.

No seriously. The L plates are a common thing even to wear on a stag do or hen party.

Many don’t do beer cans from the car these days as it mays damage the car.

No worries. I thought it was a common thing around the world to decorate the wedding cars or wear odd clothing on stag dos and hen parties.

It is, but the L was a new one for me. I definitely didn’t forsee a light-hearted gag making it’s way into something so presumably formal/royal, so I was legitimately thrown for a loop upon seeing it.

Huh, I’d heard of L-plates, but never seen them used in this context before.

You don’t suppose they do the same with these in Japan...?

No idea.

I’m curious whether the Aussies use L or P plates!?
