A beer named after a story of some local farmers who fell into a pond attempting to rake out a reflection of the moon they mistook as a truckle of Lancashire cheese.
Really good stuff.

The legend (as I understand it) is that the some smugglers had hidden some illicit booze in the town pond, and were found by the taxman trying to fish it out. They claimed they were trying to rake in a round cheese, pointing at the reflection of the moon. The taxman went on his way assuming they were just simple country types, they rescued the booze and went on their merry way.
Looks like it’s morphed in to something else as it’s moved northwards- it’s traditionally referred to my home county of Wiltshire.

I dare say every county will have a similar story.
It’s a nice one made to look on the funny side of some local yokels.
The beer however, honestly, no story, is a really good beer.
