I was on hwy 101 the other day and one of those took off from SFO, banked over me. Pretty big, not like a C5 going over you but it’s pretty surreal seeing something that big fly right over you.

I mean I don’t think anyone really likes the A380, but the rest of them (maybe not the Beluga) seem fine. The A340 is really the only one that looks good doing it, but the rest seem entirely inoffensive.

Maybe that’s it. They look like they were designed by a committee because they were. The 350 is making some strides in the looks department, though.

I actually don’t mind the raccoon face. And I like the move back to the Comet/Caravelle nose in the 350 and 787.

No - we agree on that. Even the nose of the A350 looks a little weird, like a friggin raccoon.

On the ramp we used to refer to the A380 as The Big Ugly for obvious reasons.

BA/Iberian had a nice little scam for me. I was planning on flying on one on the return from oppomeet, so they charged me $50 more than another flight, then canceled as they said the plane wasn’t full enough, and then booked me on a AA 757.
