As everyone has been made well aware, gas prices have been steadily going back up. I am curious as to what others on here are experiencing, so I would like to conduct a little survey.
The average price of regular gas in the US is right around $2.92 a gallon as of this morning. I won’t limit it, though, so for those of you outside of the US, please feel free to chime in on this.
You don’t have to mention the city you live in if you prefer not to, but it would be helpful to at least mention the state/country.
If you are able to find the cheapest for where you live, go with that. If not, go with whatever is closest to where you live or work. If able to do so, post what the price of regular and premium is. Other gas can be listed as well if you want. They don’t have to be from the same place if going the cheapest route.
To get things going, I live in Hattiesburg, MS. Cheapest I found for regular and premium is $2.42 and $2.95 respectively. The closest station to where I work has it at $2.57 and $3.09.

Google tells me the last station I got gas at (a Shell) is:
$2.90 Regular
$3.38 Premium
Not too bad, think it was worse last time I tanked up. Normally has pretty decent prices, at least compared to other name-brand stations.

Here in central/northern Vermont as of yesterday our cheapest station is still at $2.87 for regular, but I think they just have the biggest tanks and haven’t gotten a load of the most recent price-increase yet. Many stations are now at $2.99 or $3.09.

€1.39 per liter for regular E10. Close to Munich, Germany.
Translated: that’s $1.64 US per liter, or $6.21 per US gallon.
Above is the price at my local gas station. Below are average prices in Germany. I’d guess my local gas station is cheaper than average.

Incredible probably isn’t the best word for that. I knew it would be more in Europe, but I didn’t realize just how much more gas is there compared to here.

I just read it isn’t much cheaper in Canada, so I thought it was quite OK.
I’ve got an LPG (Liquefied petroleum gas) conversion on my car though, so I can choose to feed my gasoline powered car €0.529 a liter ($2.36 a gallon US) LPG gas from a secondary tank. That’s dirt cheap. Due to the lower caloric content fuel consumption goes up 10-15% though. Still, I’m not complaining.

I honestly have no idea. I haven’t needed to fill up in about a month with my pickup and the Camaro. Last time it was $2.83 for diesel (a month ago) and $2.87 for premium (a month ago).
I’ve also been riding the motorcycle more, because I don’t have that far to go to get anywhere now.

Hur hur! I’m so clever with my electric car.
Also, I love the first one I took a screenshot of. That’s a great blurred out vanity plate.
But seriously, I have no idea how much gas or diesel is anymore. But then, I didn’t keep track of it much when I was filling up. I sometimes had sticker shock and then went about filling up the cars.

Premium (91) is $3.95 at my favorite shell in SoCal.

I haven’t filled up in a few days, but I think it’s around 2.80-3.00 for regular which is 85 octane in Colorado. The main driver gets around 13mpg city and 15-16 on the highway, but since I’ve been biking to work the past two months i really only notice it on longer trips.

That’s impressively high. Also, you can still get 98. It was taxed out of existence here some years ago because of concerns about the use of carcinogens so we only get 95. My car just has to put up with it although it’s designed for 98.

There are only so many gas stations that sell it here. The ‘real deal’ 98, as in actual octane 98, is only sold by BP I believe. Shell has their VMax, but thats just an uprated 95 (still a 95 though). There are also a handful of gas stations selling genuine 102 ‘Racefuel’, or so they call it. It is 102, but not really lucrative for me to put it in since i have to drive at least 30 minutes one way to get to the gas station.

San Diego, CA - cheapest prices within a 30 mile radius:
Regular (87): $3.69/gallon
Mid (89): $3.85/gallon
Premium (91): $4.07/gallon
Diesel: $3.78/gallon
E85: $2.99/gallon
That’s the credit price, btw, at a non-Costco station. I think when I filled up last week at the station across the street I paid $4.15/gallon premium.
