I know it’s probably perspective, but at a first glance, it definitely looks like that lady is pointing the gun straight at his head. It’s probably a little in front of him, but still close enough to make me a little uncomfortable.

I don’t expect a lot of gun safety from these types of folks and that’s my own prejudice. However, that’s absolutely the wrong way to trim your eyebrows. But it’s clearly a staged photo so at least act like you know how to treat a gun.

at least if it was at the federal level, then they could have a regulating agency. TBH though they are already pushing for nationwide CC reciprocity for everyone, would make this kind of moot. That will really make california happy.

I love shooting, especially revolvers. I’ll see my cousin this weekend and he has a Ruger Super Alaskan in .454 Casull. He’s loaded some extra-hot 300-gr. hand loads for me. I like some of the WWII arms, the M-1 Garand and the M-1A being to favorites. But I don’t spend any time fantasizing about how I might get to use any of those defending my family or whatever because the odds are lottery-small and I am in no way qualified. I also find it difficult to imagine not being allowed to own firearms in this country. But the NRA has fomented the gun owning attitude to the extreme and I find it appalling.

Guns don’t bother me when owners are responsible and when gun control laws are followed. I grew up with and around them myself. It’s not a hobby I’ve held onto, but I can understand it.

But this is some blatantly overzealous wild west bullshit. The repercussions for these people should be more severe.
