Sadly, one of my original rims is bent. I’ve purchased new rims from tirerack and had them rushed so I can try to have them installed for the Oppo drive on Saturday. What would Oppo recommend I do with the bent rim and the three remaining good ones***?

*** I have a second set of OEM rims for winter. I may keep the 3 as extras for future bent rims.

Hang on to one and get a good tire mounted so you have a full size spare.

Repair it or buy a used replacement. Or if not so inclined ebay the survivors.

When you say bent... Is it just a little thing or is it completely unusable?

Take the bent rim and make an outdoor table.

It makes the car drive like crap over 40mph. But to be honest, it is hard to see with the naked eye

If they match the winter set, keep 1-2 of them and sell the rest. People buy them sometimes. With the FoSTs, people often just give away snowflakes to get rid of them because everyone seems to replace them immediately.

I just got two of mine straightened. Big improvement, but I don’t think quite perfect. Probably not worth doing if you are just going to sell them.

Spares. Use up the tires on the remaining three wheels and then sell them.

Ah. Nevermind then. My bent wheel *looks* bad but holds air fine and drives normally.

You should definitely get pegasus wheels. I think Volvo is one of the few to use the same bolt pattern

I’m using my bent rim as an extension cord spool.

I had my F30 style 397 rim straightened for around $130, and my Solstice rim refinished for $250.

Far cry from $700 and out of production for getting replacements for those.

I wanted new rims anyway, so I’m just taking this as a sign lol

If it’s the same as the Focus, you can add Ferrari to the list. That’s kinda going in the opposite direction of affordability, although these would be pretty nice.

Wait, the Fiesta’s run 5x108 in the US? They’re 4x108 here in europe, 5 holes are first on the Focus/”Mondeo”

Either get it straigtened and chuck some semis on and have them as track day/superhoon tyres, or have one as a full size spare and 2 spare spares. idk.
