My wife and I went to my sister’s new place for brunch with my mom. I ate too much frittata. Sis - the one who gave us the Cherokee - bought a car from one of her bar regulars - an attorney who has had this since new. Her son was driving it until last week when he graduated college:
She calls it the magic school bus. It’s an 04 Limited with about 170k on it. Feels tighter than a Mitsubishi with 15 years of use should. All the electronics work, even the Antenna. It doesn’t even have any dead pixels in the electronic dual zone climate control panel. The leather is a little stiff and there’s a small rip in the vinyl but all in all - with the exception of the bump-up in the front - it’s near perfect
Grand total after $120 for registration, $300 for six months of insurance, and $90 in property tax: $1,510. Nice.
